Project and Energy Engineer (Pinetown) needed at MAN Automotive Ltd

Description

• Define project scope in line with corporate objectives.
• Ensure compliance with the required health, safety, compliance, MAN norms and specifications.
• Monitor project progress & use suitable action plans with regular meetings as per agreed timelines.
• Assist in recording and reporting of water usage in the Plant.
• Coordinate scheduled/planned project milestones and activities.
• Assist in the management of Engineering ISO compliance, budget and capacity planning activities.
• Liaise with suppliers to identify mandatory processes, methods and service requirements Liaise with.
• Procurement with technical information for ordering/outsourcing of services/vendors.
• Support Engineering and documentation processes.
• Work according to SHE requirements.
• Carry out required 6S activities in line with MAN norms and objectives.
• Develop project plans and deliver project specification with precise milestones.
• Assist with cost & waste reduction initiatives to enable departmental systems to be more efficient.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Degree / Btech / Honours in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Products Safety & Health Management.
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.

Experience:

• Technical experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment – 2 years.
• Supervisory experience with strong project management experience – 1 year.
• Experience with Energy and water management – 1 year.
