Job Advert Summary

  • To Be responsible for solution design, configuration and customization of SAP products. Technical analysis and documentation of SAP systems. Provide expert advice on SAP functionality, change management and other advisory services. Project Management, review documents, develop new systems, test new or enhanced systems, train users for new functionality, support and maintain implemented applications reporting into this position.

Minimum Requirements

  • IT Degree and post-graduate degree as an advantage
  • SAP related certification or qualification preferred.
  • 5 years progressive experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in SAP Project Manager Role.
  • 3 years exposure to Digital Technology Disciplines or Business Strategy.
  • 3-year experience in System Development Methodologies.
  • General Business Acumen.

Primary Duties

  • Developing and executing architectural strategy for design and implement SAP Solution.
  • Assist with data security to ensure proper Governance, Risk and Control of the SAP eco-system
  • Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities
  • Ensure Integration between SAP and different technologies
  • Resolve technology integration problems related to SAP
  • Act as a mentor, coach, and provide training to developers by sharing solution and technical expertise.
  • Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP’s Solution Extensions
  • Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated.
  • Work with and advise the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases and on automation
  • Evaluate all business requirements and come up with solutions that provide an integrated approach for SAP users.
  • Support and maintenance on the implemented SAP ERP System or Ecosystem
  • Support and maintenance of all other related systems reporting into this position
  • Design, develop, implement, support & maintain all business requirements within SAP & all other related applications reporting into this position.
  • Compatibility between all parts of the SAP system
  • Patches/Upgrades of all systems reporting to this position
  • Ensure no repeat Audit Findings
  • End-User satisfaction
  • Ensure that the business processes align with systems (Applications requirement)
  • Ensure that the Application Architecture align with Enterprise Architecture
  • Ensure that the infrastructure requirements align with Infrastructure Landscape
  • Ensure daily operational production support and 24×7 callout support
  • Collaborate with various process owners to develop, improve and implement standards
  • Understand the IT need of businesses and design SAP programs to cater for such needs
  • Adherence to change management principles
  • Provide training on new functionalities implemented
  • All new solutions properly tested and signed off before implementation
  • Ensure that SAP and other related solutions are optimally utilised
  • Support & maintenance calls completed within the allocated timeline – No escalations
  • Review SAP suppliers proposals to ensure that quality inputs are delivered at the least possible cost

Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge on SAP architecture and design
  • Project management principles and methodologies
  • Extensive experience in SAP ecosystem (ECC6, BW, BO, Enterprise Portal, CRM, SRM, PI, BPC, ABC and GRC) and its accompanying sub-systems and underlying integration
  • IT business systems and procedures
  • Experience in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies.
