Are you an NQF Level 7 or 8 Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or equivalent qualification graduate looking to advance your career and start an articles journey in public sector finance or audit?
The Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA) has an exciting opportunity to place unemployed graduates interested in pursuing career as external auditors and/or public finance professionals within the public sector to become Registered Government Auditors (RGAs).
Candidates will have the opportunity to complete SAIGA articles with SAIGA-affiliated auditing and accounting firms or training office over a three-year period, allowing them an opportunity to obtain the esteemed Registered Government Auditor professional designation.
There are eighty (80) placement opportunities across all nine Provinces.
Requirements:
- NQF Level 7 or 8 in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or equivalent qualification. Candidates with NQF 8, i.e., Honours or Post-Graduate degree in Accounting or Auditing or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Must be unemployed.
