The ideal candidate must have a strong background in sales, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a passion for driving business growth through acquiring new accounts and maintaining relationship. The successful individual will be responsible for optimising sales in Bottom End, FSI & Emerging markets. 

Requirements    

  • Degree
  • Business English: Fluent
  • Code 08 Driver’s license 
  • Travel off-site/ overnight stay
  • Computer literacy (Advanced) 
  • Experience in working with senior management.

Duties and Responsibilities    

Manage and develop bottom end sales (General Trade/Food Services) market

  • Drive sales in the emerging market to ensure profitability 
  • Implement pricing strategies for allocated territory 
  • Develop customer growth plans 
  • Explore marketopportunities for growth and development  
  • Manage the sales budget for allocated territory 
  • Explore opportunities for principal products to be sold in emerging markets  

Manage emerging markets customers  

  • Address customer related issues 
  • Implement hybrid model for emerging markets and FSI in outer areas to maximize profitability 
  • Implement and manage Picture of Success and assets per cluster 
  • Implement marketing strategies 
  • Manage team roll out in line with roll out plan 
  • Oversee area analysis 
  • Manage route/area profitability and sales volume 
  • Formulate strategies and processes to manage and grow sales volumes  

Manage Principal relationships  

  • Manage in-trade principal sales 
  • Manage Emerging Markets Principal relationships 
  • Track and report on sales for Principals 
  • Optimise the Principal product range 
  • Ensure KPI agreements for Principals are achieved. 

Manage and develop employees  

  • Manage Regional Sales Managers and teams performance and development
  • Conduct cost management of the sales team 
  • Drive target and objective setting for sales team 
  • Manage Emerging Markets processes and practices and ensure compliance
  • Coach team to support development and full productivity
