Qualifications

• 5+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment
• Hands-on experience building and operating the full stack of highly available, high-traffic services (e.g. web services, APIs, micro-services and databases)
• Experience developing customer facing architectures and restful web services
• Full Stack development experience in enterprise architecture, technologies and frameworks (e.g. Java, C++, C#, .NET, Python, UI frameworks, Terraform etc)
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
• Experience working with other cloud teams and accommodating requirements from those teams (compute, networking, search, storage)
• Experience in a collaborative, agile development environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centres
• FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar compliance and auditing experience
• Experience and detailed technical knowledge in PaaS engineering.
• Expertise in applying threat modelling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions
• Knowledge of Oracle Apex, a low-code development platform, would also be beneficial
