What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

  • As the Senior Production Manager, you’ll lead a team of 50+ individuals, overseeing the production.
  • You’ll manage the entire production process, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. From scheduling to troubleshooting non-conformance issues, you’ll handle every aspect of the production flow.
  • You’ll work closely with engineering and other departments to improve processes, identify automation opportunities, and implement new tools and technologies to optimise production efficiency. Additionally, you’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage resources, and ensure your team is motivated and performing at their best.

What you’ll need

  • To excel in this role, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or at least 10 years of experience in a production / manufacturing environment, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • A minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in manufacturing is preferred. Your strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, ability to manage complex production schedules, and experience with material management systems like Kanbans and 5S will be key. You should also have a proven track record of leading teams, improving processes, and driving production efficiency.
