Job specification
- Facilitate ART Events and Processes: Organize and lead events such as Program Increment (PI) planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect and Adapt workshops.
- Support Teams in Delivering Value: Assist teams in achieving their goals by removing impediments, managing risks, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Serve as a liaison between product management, development, and operations teams to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of relentless improvement by encouraging teams to reflect and adapt their processes.
- Manage Program Increments: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of program increments, ensuring that all teams are synchronized and working towards common goals.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 10 year’s experience in project management with more recent experience in agile project management as Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer.
- Experience in both Technology and Financial Services would be advantageous.
- Managing delivery where reliance may be on either or both external and internal teams or a combination of the two
- Agile and SAFe Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Leadership and Coaching: Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for resolving conflicts and removing obstacles that hinder team progress.
- Ability to think on your feet with good contextual understanding.
- Financial acumen as it pertains to both creating and delivering value.
Qualifications:
- Education: Typically, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business.
- Certifications: Common certifications include SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE).
