What you will do:
- Monitor and implement legislative changes to ensure compliance with local rules and regulations for direct taxes.
- Manage direct tax risks and provide relevant advice to stakeholders.
- Facilitate understanding of the impact of income tax on Ericsson’s results among key stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain a governance model that ensures proper alignment of each entity’s tax strategy with global tax policy.
- Provide proactive tax advice, review cross-border transactions and influence tax legislative bodies.
- Drive compliance in End-to-End Operating Model (EOM) and manage withholding tax (WHT) matters.
- Identify and manage Indirect Tax risks, manage audits and ensure compliance.
- Manage transfer pricing, maintain intercompany agreements and provide advisory on pricing principles.
- Devise strategies to handle tax audits, tax litigations and other tax disputes.
- Collaborate with other Finance functions to manage reporting and compliance.
- Provide expertise and advice on tax efficient legal entity structure during Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Finance Integration.
- Actively engage in projects related to process, systems, and automation in the area of direct tax.
