TECHNICIAN (ELECTRONIC / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING) 34004988

  • Ensures that all electronic communication and monitoring/ control equipment are kept in good working order.
  • Undertakes preventative breakdown maintenance.
  • Conducts electronic workshop repairs of faulty electronic equipment down to the component level.
  • Installs and commissions electronic equipment.
  • Provides on site support in respect of trouble shooting problems and restoring operation of equipment.
  • Supervises subordinate staff.
  • Ensures that all work is undertaken according to safety procedures and policies and that the work site is safe.
  • Ensures that assigned staff are issued with uniforms and safety clothing.

  • Process orders for services and materials to contractors and suppliers.

Essential Requirements

TECHNICIAN (ELECTRONIC / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING) 34004988

  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical (Light Current) or Electronic Engineering.
  • Registered as a Candidate Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) within 3 months of     employment.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 1 year relevant post qualification experience.
  • Computer Literacy.

SENIOR TECHNICIAN (ELECTRONIC / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING) 34004988B

  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical (Light Current) or Electronic Engineering.
  • Registered as a Professional Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license
  • 3 Years relevant post qualification experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
