Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF level 4.
- Code 08 driver’s license and the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 drivers test.
- 2 years experience- using a broad range of agric/ horticulcural implements & tractor drawn equipment.
- 3 year experience with tractor.
- Able to pass Rw K53 test.
Primary Duties
- Weeding, loading and sweeping
- Applying fertilizers, insecticides & fungicides
- Use of specialized horticultural equipment, including lawnmowers & brush cutters
- General cleaning
- Driving to site to carry out work independently
- Undertake Senior Gardener work when no tractor work is available
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of fire fighting.
- Basic knowledge of first Aid.
- Basic SHE knowledge on all related functions.
