Trade Marketing Specialist – Non Alc needed at The South African Breweries

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop trade marketing strategy and plans
• Develop and implement a comprehensive RTM strategy for non-alc products.
• Collaborate with brand and sales teams to develop and implement comprehensive trade plans for Corona Cero and Castle Free
• Define the go-to-market plan for both on-premise and off-premise accounts.
• Understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends to drive trade marketing initiatives.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the positioning of the beer.
• Develop and implement in-store displays, point-of-sale materials, and trade promotions.
• Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to provide insights that inform trade marketing decisions.
• Track the effectiveness of trade marketing activities through key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales data.
• Provide regular reports on ROI and plans for trade marketing initiatives.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all trade touch points.
• Manage the creation and distribution of point-of-sale materials and in-store branding to enhance visibility and premium brand perception.
• Create and implement non-alc trade toolkits across all channels (new and current).
• Support the Trade Marketing Manager in managing the trade marketing budget.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize the impact of trade marketing programs.
• Collaborate with external agencies

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication
• Honors degree desirable but not essential
• Relevant work experience
• Excellent leadership qualities
• Good conceptual and analytical abilities
• Ability to handle complex situations under pressure
• Clear, concise communicator
• Attention to detail is key
• Must be a self starter, with a proven track record of taking full ownership of projects.
• Good commercial ability and understanding of P&L preferred but not essential
