Description
- Formulate a training plan/schedule for the Flight Deck crew;
- Check if the training plans, training schedules and rosters are in line with regulatory requirements and make amendments as required;
- Identify possible issues and collaborate with the relevant manager/Training Administrator to address problems;
- Roster employees for all training required, including ground, simulator, initial, recurrent and command evaluations;
- Schedule Flight Deck and Cabin Crew for annual medical checks;
- Book simulator slots for required training;
- Roster employees for all Flight Crew Line Training, Route Checks, Flight Crew Induction and Supernumerary Flights;
- Reschedule training when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policy and regulations;
- Arrange all hotel rooms, duty travel and transport for trainees when required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
- Tertiary qualification in Administration (Advantageous);
- 3 years’ experience in the airline industry of which 1 year is in a planning or scheduling role (Essential);
- Knowledge of Aviation industry;
- Knowledge of rostering systems;
- Knowledge of CAA and IOSA requirements;
- Knowledge of scheduling tools;
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suit;
- Planning and organising skill;
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Good communication skills (Verbal and Written);
- Good interpersonal skills.
