Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and holistic HR services to the HR Manager and programme on all aspects of HR from recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Relations etc.
- Ensure effective implementation of all HR processes through effective business partnering
- Ensure staffing levels are maintained by managing the recruitment of junior and middle management positions in the portfolio
- Initiate employee engagement activities such as wellness/ Heritage days
- Support the performance management processes within Anova
- Partner with line managers and staff to achieve business objectives
- Facilitate induction of new employees
- Generate weekly and monthly HR reports as required
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Employee/Labour Relations and Industrial Psychology or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience of which 3 years must have been as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist covering all broad aspects of Human resources
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve HR related problems
- Knowledge and experience working with BCEA, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and Labour Law
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Highly organised & detail oriented
- Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office
