• In your capacity as Director of Golf you will be responsible to manage, continuously develop, control, plan, direct, and coordinate, at both a tactical and strategic level, all aspects of the golf business. This involves providing a clear vision for its strategic direction, whilst taking personal responsibility for identifying additional sales and marketing opportunities, ensure customer service excellence is consistently delivered, and revenues and profitability are maximised.
• The job also requires the successful candidate to offer verifiable success in managing membership expectations, efficient running of member competitions & events, and a strong focus on enhancing the overall membership experience of esteemed golf club stakeholders.
• We consider the following criteria as essential: Grade 12 or equivalent, a relevant PGA qualification or currently being employed as a Director of Golf at a comparable golf club or estate; specialist knowledge of offering a world-class golfing experience; financial and people management expertise; experience and success in running a profitable Pro Shop.
