DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to remotely supervise multiple personnel and work scopes efficiently and effectively.
  • Occasional travel globally as and when required. 
  • Provide technical analysis to ascertain timelines and resource requirements for customer quotation purposes.
  • Manage projects and personnel planning using pre-existing and new processes, systems and applications.
  • Ability to assign projects and tasks to technical personnel based on skill level and competency level.
  • Monitoring and control of project costs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients on project status both technically and commercially.
  • Review and approval of technical and financial reporting. 
  • Provide recommendations on improving products and systems efficiency to clients based on technical analysis conducted in field. 
  • Advise customers on the maintenance and upkeep of their NOV equipment as per the various manuals, Product Information Bulletins (PIB) drawing revision changes, software updates etc. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Customers, Colleagues and other NOV entities.
  • Continual review and assessment of direct reports to ensure development goals are achieved.
  • Participate in the 24/7 on-call team on a rotational basis.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related Technical, Commercial field or equivalent experience. 

EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical capacity within an Offshore, automated, or industrial environment with an additional minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role with customer relationship management and employee development experience. Total minimum experience 8 years.
  • Good technical knowledge relating to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, maintenance, and repair activities of heavy machinery in an offshore or automation environment.
  • Good knowledge of NOV Rig Equipment preferred.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings/schematics.
  • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and Outlook).
