Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Ocean Fulfilment team, train and grow employees, improve the way the team works.
• Provide direction and clarity to the team to deliver our promise to customers, sail full ship on the most reliable network at lowest cost.
• Drive effective space utilization, flow efficiency, scheduling, coordination and partnership with country clusters, Regional Ocean Network team, and relevant Centre Functions.
• Be responsible for fuel and environmental efficient vessel operations across the portfolio of the services.
• Drive the establishment of vessel operation contingency plans and driving cost saving opportunities.
• Participate in and support vessel scheduling, Regional Ocean Network team, port deployment projects or any other improvement projects within or outside Africa Operations TbM.
• Develop, strengthen and optimize Maersk services with the objectives to increase productivity in terminals, reduce port stays, high quality of vessel stowage and create customer value at lower possible cost.
• Be our main entry point for external stakeholders such as Terminals, ports and ocean suppliers.
• Cooperate closely with our TbM land colleagues to develop and grow our business across ocean and land.
