RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that all items picked are in a clean and saleable condition and meet laid down quality standards with regard to packaging, labeling, outer appearance and neatness.
• Follows stock rotation procedure, FIFO (first in first out), as per Stock Controller instructions when picking order.
• Picks products and makes up orders as per customer orders and transfers them to the holding area for checking.
• Assists with the bi-annual as well as ad hoc stock counts/checks as per Stock Controller instruction.
• Assists fellow workers with the execution of tasks whenever their own responsibilities have been executed and completed.
• Ensures that work area/s are neat, tidy, organised and clean at all times.
• Assists with and adheres to security measures to ensure the safety of products, assets and facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 is Essential
• 2 years of general worker experience
