Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams, project managers, designers, and other departments to ensure the efficient deployment and operation of technology systems.
  • Lead efforts to maintain the reliability, performance, and security of our technology infrastructure.
  • Monitor system health and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact project deadlines.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing guidance and assistance in resolving technical challenges.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines are met and technical requirements are aligned with business goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among teams to optimise technology operations and project execution.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to define and implement technology strategies that support the organisation’s objectives.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the CTO, highlighting technology operations, challenges, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing technology operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with technology infrastructure, software development processes, writing code and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing technology processes and workflows.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and facilitate collaboration among team members.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
