Job Summary 

We are seeking a Finance Intern to strengthen our Finance team. This role will report to the Finance Manager and is based in our Cape Town office, and interfaces with all of CFM’s divisions and offices.

The Finance Intern is responsible for assisting the Finance Team in the performance of the Department’s function and duties by rendering a comprehensive and professional administration and accounting services to assist the Team and the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications
• Manage specialized information, reports and invoices
• Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company
• Assist with VAT support
• Provide general accounting support
• Help with accounts payable management

Qualifications & Experience

SKILLS (TECHNICAL, BEHAVIORAL AND OTHER)

• A degree in commerce or Accounting essential
• Mathematical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

KNOWLEDGE

• Bookkeeping and Accounting knowledge
• Professional level computer literacy in relevant accounting and financial management software applications
• Have a Bcom Degree
