KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and maintain payroll administration processes and procedures
- Monitor legislative changes and implement
- Sign off variance reports for all payrolls
- Review all payroll accounting reconciliations
- Lead payroll processes
- Review monthly reports for accuracy and circulate to Exco.
- Drive continuous improvement of payroll processing within the South African business
- Implement all increases in accordance with applicable rules.
- IRP 5 submissions
- Annual COID returns
- Monthly UIF declarations
FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationship with all heads across the estate
- Manage the timeous resolution of payroll queries by attending to escalated queries and reviewing unresolved queries
- Staff Benefit and Compensation communication to all relevant stakeholders
- Staff financial benefit administration
- Conduct performance reviews to measure performance against agreed objectives
- Lead on all payroll projects within the business
YOUR PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience: 5 years payroll experience.
- Industry: 5 years experience within a BPO environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: the ability to clearly and effectively communicate face to face and over the phone.
- Organised: the ability to multi-task and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Detail-Orientated: a strong, meticulous eye for quality and ensuring all data entry tasks are completed accurately and to a high standard.
- Adaptability: the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and stakeholder interactions adjusting your communication style as necessary.
- Advantageous: Experience using Sage 300.
