What you’ll do:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and ensuring that our services align with their needs.
- Qualify, develop, and maintain Software Development offerings, and product knowledge, research consumer needs, and identify how our solutions can support these.
- Generate leads and grow existing relationships, maintaining an accurate, detailed client portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a renewal base of a minimum of 80% of the business.
- Make cold calls and perform warm outreach, putting outside-the-box thinking to work to develop new and unique sales tactics.
- Collaborate with business delivery managers to improve their offerings and to ensure a realistic view of proposals.
- Work with other Client Directors and Account Managers to design industry-specific but tailored solutions.
- Utilize CRM effectively to ensure standard processes during all sales stages.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes and provide required reporting to Management.
- Responsible for proactive hunting of new business and growth (farming) across all internal channels and with LOB clients as well as potential clients.
- Assist with and drive relevant leads and or prospects to closure/ next stage of progress.
- Assist and drive tenders with Advisory and Management teams.
- Own the Software Development marketing and sales collateral.
- Assist Client Directors, Key Account Managers, Business Heads, and other Account Executives with specific sales or any related sales actions required.
- Realize revenue and margin targets and maximize sales opportunities by connecting client needs with our offerings and solutions.
- Build solid relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment, and strategy to identify current and future opportunities.
- Develop open and effective channels of communication with all stakeholders.
- Complete Sales proposals or assist/ contribute towards the completion of proposals (if multi-BU opportunity).
Your Expertise:
- Experience in solution selling and Software Development services: 2 years (min.)
- Exceptional Communication skills.
- Function-related experience within a Software Development environment: 5-10 years (Desired).
- SDLC Project experience: 5 years.
- Have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance.
- Experience in solution sales, the sales process, and the ability to generate leads through direct or indirect relations with clients.
- Further, develop relationships and must have the ability to close deals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- A quick learner with strong listening and negotiating skills, and with a presence who can showcase our Software Development offerings in a compelling way to the sale and add value to our clients.
- Tracking CRM actively managing activities and driving sales through the pipeline.
Qualifications Required:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Business Management
- Relevant certification
