Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

Share expertise on change and communication strategies and deliverables to achieve objectives and targets.

Have a passion for change and people and how people react to that change. Provide specialist opinion on the transformation and change strategies. Offer expertise on the selection and justification of initiatives that contribute to the delivery of strategies.

Ensure all initiatives implemented in SEO has a change and communication plan, with at least the following:

  • Stakeholder management plan
  • Change Impact Analysis
  • Communication plan, with at least
  • Awareness communication
  • Impact communication
  • Training and coaching plans, where applicable
  • Behaviour change interventions, where applicable
  • Feedback loops to track adoption and embedding
  • Reinforcement mechanisms to ensure sustainability
    • Orchestrate and advise on internal and external communication for the target audience using appropriate channels
    • Challenge set views and methods of working to influence and realise the benefits of fundamental outcomes of transformation.
    • Recommend and advocate for the adoption of new methods of operation (only if this makes sense in the SEO context).
    • Act as a thought partner in communication and change solutions for transformation initiatives, projects, and programmes in SEO.
    • Promote innovative ideas and solutions in the area of change and transformation
    • Implement Sasol Group’s Change Risk and take appropriate measures to improve.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with agreed stakeholders
    • Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.

Formal Education

  • University Bachelor’s Degree
  • Change Management certification (strong wish)
  • Industrial Psychology and/or MBA (wish)

Min Experience

  • 6+ relevant years

Certification & Professional Membership

  • Change Management (strong wish)
