RCL FOODS is recruiting for a SHEQ Systems Administrator based in Westville.

The successful incumbent will coordinate SHERQ reporting and documentation process accurately, provide administrative support to SHER Compliance Manager for maintaining current Food Division certifications and Total Integrated Management Systems (TIMS) and BI reporting structures.

Minimum Requirements    

  • Diploma/Degree in Environmental Health/Safety Management, or any other SHERQ related qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience is required in a similar capacity within an FMCG environment
  • Computer Literate (strong in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge:

  • ISO45001 & ISO14001 Management systems training.
  • Internal Auditor training will be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities    
Provides administrative support for Total Integrated Management Systems (TIMS)

  • Maintains administration of the Food Division TIMS’ records, documentation, files and manuals to ensure risk management, sustainability, and continuous improvement and realization of commercial benefit, improvement of product quality, food/feed safety, animal welfare and customer satisfaction
  • Obtain and Review Food Division leading and lagging KPI’s action plans for and not limited to-
  • Non-Conformances
  • Audit Inspection programme
  • Incident Management and Change Control
  • Data management and integrity
  • SHERQ training
  • SHERQ Communications
  • Risk assessments
  • Internal audits
  • Auditing of BI documentation, records, and reports

Internal Audits-

  • Assisting with documentation, records and files during both internal and external audits. Participate in Inter-site audits for Food Division
  • Be part of the internal audit team for the Westville site

Communication and Reporting-

  • Complete weekly & monthly reports on SHEQ systems issue and progress made
  • Report required figures and results to SHER Compliance Manager
  • Maintains SHE licences and permits.
  • Supports the SHER Compliance Manager on SHER tasks and internal compliance audits
  • Supports the National QA Compliance Manager on QFS related compliance task
  • Administration: Supports team on administrative tasks and Ad Hoc projects.
  • Supports CoE SHERQ team activities in driving SHEQ X system across Foods Division
