Daily Duties
Deliveries
- Tagging assets once delivered
- Marking/Labelling all assets delivered
- Putting assets on the relevant shelves
- Marking Invoices (Name of order & asset tag)
- Capturing assets on Asset Management System
- Scanning invoices to ICT Asset control
- Updating Invoice Report/Spreadsheet (for Weekly ICT Asset Control Meeting)
- Filing invoices.
Set Ups (Technicians)
- Technicians to request hardware for set up
- Assets to be retrieved from storeroom and an Asset Configuration Form needs to be done with the relevant details
- Assets given to technicians with the relevant paperwork
- Once the technicians are done, the assets needs to be put in the storerooms on the relevant shelve (e.g. Ready for Collection)
- Configuration form to be completed and send to ICT Asset Control to verify.
- Update Asset Management System
- Print verified form and attach to original form & file
Collections
- Getting assets ready for collection
- Complete an Asset Collection Form (ACF) – user to sign the ACF before receiving asset
- Send ACF to ICT Assest control for verification (with copy of the users ID/License)
- Update Asset Management System
- Print verified form and attach to original form & file
- Updating Asset Collection Report/Spreadsheet (for Weekly ICT Asset Control Meeting)
Returns
- If user returns an asset, an Asset Return Form is completed for the user to sign
- Mark/Label the returned asset and put on relevant shelve
- Send ARF to ICT Asset control to verify (with copy of ID)
- Update Asset Management System
- Print verified form and attach to original form & file
- Updating Asset Return Report/Spreadsheet (for Weekly ICT Asset Control Meeting)
Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- SharePoint Fundamentals
Advantageous
- Office Administration Certificate
- Business Administration Certificate
- SharePoint foundation certification
Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a senior Coordinator/Asset Control officer position
- Understanding of Donor Funded environments
Requirements
- Own Car
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Basic Computer skills
- Basic Microsoft Office (Level 1-2)
- PowerPoint presentation skills
- SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
- Minimal/Moderate/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
- Willing to work overtime
