• Clover has an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Primary Transport. This role is based at Head Office (Roodepoort). As a System Support Controller: Primary Transport you will be expected to understand, analyse and enhance Primary Distribution process through a structured process of continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Provide system support

• Provide system support for all Primary Transport applications        
• Coordinate vehicle visibility process on an ongoing basis (including external service providers), and ensure alignment with the Clover system        
• Monitor and put corrective measures in place to increase visibility data and accuracy        
• Assist Primary Planners with processes to increase vehicle visibility via the Primary dashboards and visibility tools        
• Identify inefficiencies within the Primary Transport planning tools and find ways to correct this        
• Communicate with service providers to seek new ideas to improve overall vehicle visibility and improved processes.        

Provide management support

• Analyse daily movement of Primary vehicles to identify inefficiencies within the total Primary Distribution network        
• Create management reports to assist in understanding the movement and cost associated with the total Primary Distribution network        
• Seek new ideas to streamline the Primary Distribution process        
• Monitor and report on operational KPI’s daily/weekly/monthly        
• Act as 2 IC for Clover primary coordination center.        

Conduct administrative tasks

• Ensure all admin tasks associated with Primary Visibility are continuously updated, including the instalment or replacement of current tracking devices
• Ensure all Master Data is continuously updated        
• Assist with creating admin reports to streamline the admin process within Plato Transact        
• Seek new idea’s to streamline the admin process.       

Drive continuous improvement activities

• Identify KPI’s for total Primary Transport function and put measures in place for daily/weekly/monthly measurement        
• Identify possible risks in the primary transport operation and systems and take corrective actions to minimise this risk        
• Analyse effectiveness of the transport process and advise on corrective measures
