Job Description

  • Responsible for the Engineering division’s overall financial and administrative function.

Requirements

  • Grade 12/ NQF4 with Accounting or Math as subjects
  • Previous experience within a similar role (Administrative)
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Experience in the management of Time and Attendance with preference given to PRP & ESS/ Sage. 
  • Proven understanding of daily and monthly financial processes (budgeting, quotes, invoices etc.)
  • Ability to work on MS Excel on an intermediate level
  • Experience working with Job Cards & the processing thereof with preference given to experience in the PRAGMA system

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for administration of the department’s administrative and financial function as needed (debtors and payments)
  • Administrative support of the cash register and petty cash function 
  • Responsible for the overall administration of the spares and inventory store (stock management)
  • Month to month administration of the artisan’s worksheets/ timesheets/ job cards
  • Continuous liaison with internal and external clients 
  • Related ad-hoc duties as requested from time to time
